Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer

Responsibilties

As an Oracle EBS Developer, you will meet with business unit leads, users, and partners to gather requirements. Also, you will interact with Oracle support to research and resolve issues. Additional responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining external interfaces and possibly data conversions; optimizing application workflows; and implementing system process improvements.

Requirements

• Candidates will have experience with the Oracle EBS modules.

• Candidates for this opportunity must have a degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field or the equivalent in education and experience.

• Ideal candidates will have problem solving skills and a strong background in software architecture and design with an appreciation for application scalability and maintainability.

• Also, candidates should have 5 or more years of Oracle development experience that includes SQL, PL/SQL, and database procedures and packages.

• Candidates should have knowledge of some of the following Oracle Applications: Order Management, Accounts Receivables, Learning Management, HR/Payroll, CRM, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and Project Management.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Oracle EBS applications — preferably 11i
• Experience using Forms 6i, Reports 6i, OA Framework, and AOL
• Familiarity with Java programming language, UNIX, data conversions, and Oracle Workflow
• Ability to formulate requirements and design specifications and code development reviews
• Responsibility for all phases of full life cycle implementation, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment
